OVEN & STOVE PROBLEMS

WON’T TURN ON

For an electric stove will not start, check if the stove power cord is plugged in and all circuit breakers are switched on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the oven power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is burning in the oven, then a different part will need to be fixed. The reason for the problem could be the infinite switch, surface element, oven burner igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A burner or stove or oven with no produce heat will not do much. An oven does not heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. A burner won’t ignite if an element breaks or the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We can fix these problems in less than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS VERY HOT

You should have a hot oven. But not too hot! When the oven heat is out of control, it might be because of an issue with the thermostat or sensor. Our appliance technicians can find the location of the issue and then fix it. Be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of skin burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A common stove problem is that an igniter will glow but doesn’t light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We can determine if we can fix these appliance parts or if we will need to replace the part.

DOOR DOESN’T OPEN

Modern self-cleaning ovens sometimes experience door problems often. The door doesn’t open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door latch, seal and thermostat to find out why the door does not open up and then complete the repair so we can put an end to the issue.
